Anime Flux was originally launched in the fall of 2003 with the sole
purpose of displaying the on-going works of Marshall Griffin. It was his
hope to share these pieces with the public and perhaps make a few dollars
for his hard work.
So what is Anime Flux? Put simply, it is the forefront of one
man's obsession with all things anime. Over a decade of study
and practice have been honed to display what lies in the site's
galleries, and surely more refining is to come.
The artist behind Anime Flux is Marshall Griffin, a 23 year old
resident of Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his AS Degree in the
Computer Animation field in 2002 at the International Academy of
Design and Technology (IADT), and has been working full-time for
the past 3 years as the head of his graphics department at a
large, international non-profit organization.
Aside from his job, he has worked in conjunction with the USF theatre department to develop
various media. He does commissions and art trades as well.
For the vast majority of his work, he uses Photoshop 7.
In addition, he is proficient in PageMaker, Illustrator,
Publisher, and FrontPage 2000.
In his spare time (what's that?), he enjoys consuming
massive amounts of manga and anime, along with playing DDR
and, of course, drawing anything that comes into his head.
At the moment, his favorite anime are Hellsing, Cowboy
Bebop, and Oh! My Goddess; favorite manga include Negima!,
.Hack, and Hellsing.
